Discover the Night. Protect the Dark.Step into a whole new world after sunset with the Greene Dark Skies program. This engaging evening experience invites participants of all ages to explore what comes alive at night—through stargazing, observing nocturnal wildlife, and discovering insects and other creatures that thrive in the dark.The program also highlights light pollution and how artificial light at night impacts our view of the stars and disrupts ecosystems. In partnership with Blue Ridge Dark Skies, participants will learn simple, practical ways to reduce light pollution and help protect both wildlife and our night skies.
