Unplugged & Ready: Summer Brain Boot Camp prepares rising 4th and 5th graders for the school year through hands-on learning. Taught by retired teachers Teresa Beahm and Steve Sharp, this "unplugged" program is a teach-free zone- no tablets or computers are permitted, ensuring students focus on tactile engagement. Participants will master mental math with the 24 challenge, enjoy vocabulary lessons, and explore nature with the Central Virginia Beekeepers. The experience also includes a trip to the Greene County Historical Society coordinated by Stephanie Hamme.
