Hot Shots Soccer
This league provides a great introduction to soccer by exposing participants to organized outdoor recreation and team sports in general. Each team meets for one hour every Saturday for 6 weeks on one-half of the 85x50 field.  In the first thirty minutes, volunteer coaches will lead a practice focused on developing the fundamentals of the game. The second half-hour of the time slot is reserved for scrimmaging. This program is designed to inspire each child’s interest in the game while providing the opportunity to interact with other children of the same age. The uniform includes a jersey and matching socks.

GCPR strives to provide enjoyable athletic experiences for every youth participant while developing character,  fundamentals, sportsmanship, and overall goodwill toward all teams and individuals. Open to boys and girls, this program provides a great opportunity to stay in Greene County and have a well-rounded soccer experience.  All coaches are volunteers focused on player development with an emphasis on fundamentals. This allows for a fun, but competitive experience for all. All leagues include one weeknight practice and weekend games. Registration includes team uniforms including an athletic jersey and socks.

Registration Deadline: February 24th

Roster and Practice Night requests are only granted to siblings and family members of the same household that are in the same age division. Head/Assistant coaches of the program automatically get their registered participants placed on their roster.  Practice night availability/limitations should be communicated to GCPR at the time of registration via email, phone call, or in person at the GCPR office.  

Rosters will be retained from the Fall 2024 season; meaning that if your participant played in the Fall then they will be on the same roster.  Participants who did not participate in the Fall 2024 season will go through preseason player evaluations and then get drafted onto a roster during the preseason player draft.
